Alan, Alan, Charles, Charles, David, Edgar, Edwin, Eugene, Harrison, James, John, Neil? It has something to do with America in the 1920s-30s.

What do these names have in common?
Do you have Michel?
Reply:Sorry for not getting back to you sooner, but these 12 names are the first names of the only 12 people to have walked on the moon (all American men born in the 1930's (11) or 1920's (Alan Shepard)). Ref: google, Wikipedia, and personal knowledge. I met or heard about some of the astronauts when I was a kid growing up in the Air Force. Some of them didn't go by their first names, as you know.
