I'm doing a plant book for school, and I can't seem to find the common name for Cycas panzhihuaensis. I've gotten various common names, but I can't find 1 general common name.
Do you know the common name for Cycas panzhihuaensis?

Reply:According to my garden reference book, all cycas common names are sago palm, then they break off into individual names eg queen sago %26amp; japanese sago palm.
Reply:Dukou Cycad. Problem with common names is they vary from region to region. This is why we prefer to use the botanical name, that way we all talk about the same plant. If you have more than one common name, list them. They are just as "right" as any other common name.
