Teachers: What are the most common childrens names right now?

Logan, Aiden, Jackson





Ashley, Mikayla (various spellings), Hannah, Emma, Madison





These are the ones I've noticed in my classroom.

The Social Security Administration keeps a list of popular baby names by year: http://www.ssa.gov/OACT/babynames/





Here are the ones for 2006, but you could also just search for popular baby names from 5-10 years ago to get the names for today's children:

Reply:In my classes (high school level) the common names are, for girls: Mikayla (spelling variations), Kaitlyn (again different spellings), Sarah and Ashley


Boys: Michael, David, Christopher


Have at least 3 students with each of the above names

Girls: Madison, Emily, Emma, Alexis


Boys: Jacob, Landon, Hayden


Those are the ones I can think of that have several children by that name.
