Teachers: What are the most common childrens names right now?
The Social Security Administration keeps a list of popular baby names by year: http://www.ssa.gov/OACT/babynames/
Here are the ones for 2006, but you could also just search for popular baby names from 5-10 years ago to get the names for today's children:
Rank Male name Female name
1 Jacob Emily
2 Michael Emma
3 Joshua Madison
4 Ethan Isabella
5 Matthew Ava
6 Daniel Abigail
