Reply:Emma - I like it. It sounds all British and proper





Jayden - It sounds cute but I've never been a fan of last names as first names





Emily - I like it. It sounds cute and pink (that's a good thing).





James - I like it. If I have a son some day I would want to name him James.





Jacob - Its okay. For me I can't shake the popularity of Jake but Jacob was a strong Bibical character





Lily - I like it. It makes me think of flowers. I had a girl in my English class in high school named Lily the kids called her Lily Padd (which she liked and ended up going by it for the rest of high school) so if you think your kid will be prone to teasing then be careful with Lily





Sophia - I don't like the name Sophia but I like the meaning (wisdom)

Jayden is just ugly and harsh.


Jacob isn't bad but it just rubs me the wrong way.


Lily feels really tacky to me. I don't know why.





Its hard for me too see past popularity for a lot of names because when I hear a name a lot, its starts to have a tacky, lower-class feel to me (like Lily and Jacob).

Lily reminds me of a dog.

jayden--if this is for a boy--i do not like the use of the "y" in the name it feminizes it a bit.


emily--ugh, cute name but way tooooooo overused as you said.


james--not my tase


jacob--like this name--good and solid name can go by jake as they get older
