Prefer - Common names or uncommon names?

I'd rather have a unique name; unfortunately I have one of the most common names in the world.

Prefer - Common names or uncommon names?
i haven't got unique name but yeh its not the most commom as well

Reply:Since my name is Sara, I've always been one of many in my classes all through school. This year is the worst yet--there's four Saras in my homeroom alone and about five others in my grade.





So I've always liked uncommon names more because they stick out. But, I don't like the tacky, off the wall ones, like Apple or Pilot Inspektor.

By "uncommon" i don't mean hideous, UNearthly, weird sounding namezz..!!!

strange names like Schachhuber, Schraggm, Munyonzwe Hamalengwa are painful for me





Glenn, Heath, Katie - medium common, are more fresh but familiar at the same time
Reply:Generally, I prefer common, but not TOO common, names that sound nice. I do still like unique names, as long as they aren't too 'creative' that they are embarassing.
